how's this for awesome? I had an opportunity presented to me just this morning to respond with compassion! A friend called me at 8 am (right after husband and kid drop off) and needed a ride. It was about an hour out of my way and I already had plans for today that did not involve driving that far. But it was an opportunity like Jill talked about last night and I'm thankful that I was able to respond with compassion and be there for someone who needed it. What did I learn from it? Well, it's really not as big a deal as you'd think to take an hour out of your morning to love someone like Jesus, and it was a blessing to me to have been given an opportunity to serve!
